The previously closed "meet tree Café NAKATSUGAWA" has reopened as "meet tree HITO to KI Shinmachi Store" on Saturday, September 13, 2025.
The café offers a seasonal autumn-winter limited edition "meet tree Nakatsugawa Premium Mont Blanc," which sold up to 200 servings per day, along with other exquisite chestnut sweets made with abundant chestnuts. This is a great opportunity to visit.

Inside the wooden frame, layers of castella from a local long-established confectionery shop, homemade custard, and fresh cream are topped with fluffy domestic Japanese chestnut powder (carefully strained chestnut kinton paste) equivalent to about 4 chestnuts. The dessert is finished with a sprinkle of matcha salt using Okinawan sea salt, which further enhances the natural sweetness of the chestnuts.
Mont Blanc of ENA - ¥1,600 (includes drink)
Inspired by the rocks and stones of Mount Ena, this dessert features tart and pie bases carefully baked one by one in the store, layered with homemade custard and fresh cream, then topped with generous amounts of freshly piped domestic Japanese chestnut paste.
Chestnut Terrine - 2 pieces - ¥1,500 (includes drink)
This luxurious treat uses over half of domestic Japanese chestnuts and domestic Japanese chestnut paste in each terrine. Made with carefully selected ingredients including Yotsuba butter, fresh cream, cane sugar, domestic Japanese chestnuts, and domestic rice flour, this gluten-free (wheat-free) dessert can be enjoyed without guilt.
Shiroyama - ¥1,300
This chestnut parfait features domestic chestnuts with rich soft-serve ice cream, cassis sherbet, pie, tart, and more, providing a refreshing experience until the last bite.
