The restaurant serves Kansai-style sukiyaki made with Osaka Ume Beef (大阪ウメビーフ), seasoned with flavors drawn from Sakai's food culture. Kansai-Style Sukiyaki with Osaka Ume Beef and Spices from a Sakai Maker
Located on the 25th floor, Japanese Cuisine Naniwa offers views over the streets of Sakai while guests enjoy Kansai-style sukiyaki. Staff finish the first slice of beef for guests, and each serving comes with shichimi (seven-spice blend) and sansho (Japanese pepper) from Yamatsu Tsujita (やまつ辻田), a Japanese spice maker founded in 1902 (Meiji 35). The flavor of the spices, handed down by this long-established Sakai company, brings out the taste of the sukiyaki.
Two courses are available. "錦 NISHIKI Standard" uses Osaka Ume Beef shoulder loin, while "錦 NISHIKI Premium" uses Osaka Ume Beef loin. Each course begins with a basket arrangement of appetizers and sashimi, followed by the sukiyaki, a closing meal, and dessert.
