Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka Offers Limited-Time Christmas Courses with Nakanoshima Night Views

Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka, a Vignette Collection hotel in Nakanoshima, Kita-ku, Osaka, is now selling special Christmas-season courses at two restaurants with night views of Nakanoshima: Restaurant Chambord (レストラン シャンボール) on the 29th floor of the East Wing and Nihon Ryori Nakanoshima (日本料理 なかのしま) on the 30th floor of the East Wing. The hotel also recommends its teppanyaki restaurant for special days with loved ones. A Christmas dinner buffet and Christmas afternoon tea are planned at restaurants in the hotel, with details to be announced later.

Christmas at the Hotel's French Restaurant

Restaurant Chambord is the hotel's French restaurant, with a view of the city of Osaka from the 29th floor. Its elegant space is inspired by a French castle that is a World Heritage site.

For Christmas, the restaurant has prepared special courses of classic French cuisine that make full use of carefully selected ingredients. The dinner course "Menu Ange" (ムニュ アンジュ) features Yonezawa beef fillet, one of Japan's three great wagyu brands, paired with foie gras and finished with the aroma of black truffle in the "Rossini style." Other dishes include a fricassée of Yamato Nikudori chicken with the rich aroma of white truffle, cannelloni of Matsuba crab and caviar, and ravioli of blue lobster flavored with cèpe mushrooms.

The dessert served with all lunch and dinner courses is "Strawberry Vacherin," styled as an ornament for a Christmas tree and lightly scented with yuzu. The restaurant offers cuisine that showcases the chef's sensibility and skill, along with attentive hospitality, for time spent with someone special.

Winter Flavors in Japanese Cuisine on the Top Floor

Nihon Ryori Nakanoshima, on the hotel's top floor, serves kaiseki meals that use winter ingredients and add Christmas-inspired colors and garnishes. The hassun appetizer plate, served as a single arrangement for two, expresses the holiday with a delicate Japanese sensibility. The top-tier course, "Hoshizora" (星宙), includes dishes such as thinly sliced seasonal pufferfish and steamed abalone with truffle-scented shark fin sauce.

Teppanyaki for a Special Christmas

At Teppanyaki Naniwa (鉄板焼 なにわ), guests sit at the counter and watch skilled chefs work right in front of them, with ingredients cooked to bring out their flavor. The popular "Seafood and Japanese Black Beef Dinner" lets guests choose live black abalone or live domestic spiny lobster. Two diners can each choose a different dish and share them to compare the flavors. The lively, close-up setting suits a Christmas spent with someone special.
