Artists Shusaku Takaoka and Yoichiro Uchida are holding the two-person exhibition "ALTERD" at GOLDFLOG COFFEE in Hakata, Fukuoka, from Saturday, September 19 to Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The exhibition will display and sell works by both artists, including a collaborative piece created specifically for the show. Apparel brand THE FOUND. will also release a special item featuring the collaborative artwork.
Two artists with different methods and perspectives bring their own forms of expression together, giving rise to a new kind of scenery.

An artist who develops a distinctive style of collage, using existing images — from famous paintings and pop culture to advertising and magazines — as his raw material.
By picking up images that exist in different eras and contexts, cutting them out, and layering them together, he transforms familiar images into new scenery.
Alongside his artwork, he continues to work across genres, including collaborations with the fashion, music, and culture scenes.
Yoichiro Uchida

An artist who creates his work by drawing letters based on intuition and momentary sensation, without setting a clear theme or finished form in advance.
He composes his pictures by layering words and images that linger in the back of his mind with lines and shapes that arise by chance.
Valuing improvisation, his process builds each work out of an unpredictable flow, much like a free jazz jam session.

It translates the artwork's underlying idea — reconstructing gathered images and fragments of memory from a new perspective — into products such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, and caps.
For this exhibition, the brand will release a special item featuring the collaborative work by Shusaku Takaoka and Yoichiro Uchida created for ALTERD.
Rather than letting the art end in the exhibition space, it is carried back into everyday life.
