SIGNAL GALLERY Opens in Fukuoka's Imaizumi on June 4, 2026

A new contemporary culture space is coming to Fukuoka's Imaizumi neighborhood. SIGNAL GALLERY opens on Thursday, June 4, 2026, with a concept that spans art, music, and visual culture.

The gallery was founded by Ricky Ngai, an entrepreneur who relocated from Hong Kong to Fukuoka in 2023. Drawing on his background in tourism and digital media, Ngai created SIGNAL GALLERY to serve as a cultural gateway connecting Fukuoka's creative community with artists and audiences in Asia and beyond. The space aims to give local artists greater international visibility while offering overseas creatives an accessible entry point into the Japanese market.

About SIGNAL GALLERY

Built around the concept of "Art × Music × Culture," SIGNAL GALLERY is designed as a year-round creative hub. The street-level venue features a transparent facade and an open interior layout, welcoming visitors whether or not they have a background in contemporary art.

By day the space functions as an exhibition gallery; by night it transforms into a cultural venue hosting music, live performances, film screenings, and VJ culture events.
