A New Food Court Offering a Diverse "New World Sea" of Cuisine
Under the concept "Come On, New World Sea!," Aqua World Ibaraki Oarai Aquarium has been delivering guests one exciting, moving "New World Sea" experience after another. In March 2027, the aquarium will mark its 25th anniversary, and it plans a memorial year of programming aimed at becoming an even more beloved aquarium.
Since opening in 2002, the food court has served a wide variety of menu items in a homey space. Through this renewal, it will be reborn as a relaxing space that brings excitement and comfort to every visitor, both before and after they enjoy meeting the aquarium's sea creatures. Built around the concept "Head Out to the Pacific," the new food court draws the view of the Pacific Ocean through a wall of windows into the space itself, so guests can walk around, sit, and relax while feeling as though a great adventure is beginning, as if diving straight into the sea, all while enjoying a diverse "New World Sea" of cuisine. We hope you'll look forward to the completion of a food court filled with new appeal.
Further details about the renewal reopening will be announced at a later date.
