Bandai Namco Experience Inc. and Bandai Namco Amusement Inc. are opening the Gashapon Bandai Official Shop AEON Town Mito Minami Store on Friday, September 18, 2026, inside TSUTAYA AEON Town Mito Minami — part of the large shopping center AEON Town Mito Minami in Ibaraki, Ibaraki Prefecture. The store specializes in Bandai's capsule toy brand "Gashapon."

Large-scale capsule toy specialty stores have been on the rise in recent years, with the format gaining wide popularity as accessible entertainment. Bandai, Bandai Namco Experience (planning and production), and Bandai Namco Amusement (large capsule toy store operations expertise) are jointly opening this store to deliver the "exciting experience" and "unique products" unique to the Gashapon brand directly to fans.
As a Bandai-official large capsule toy specialty store, the shop carries the full lineup of Bandai's new capsule toy products across its 330 slots and aims to offer a "Gashapon experience" available nowhere else, spotlighting new appeal of "Gashapon."
With sophisticated modeling and unique product development, capsule toys have become representative of miniature toys today. To convey the entertainment value of "Gashapon" to more people both in Japan and abroad, the companies will continue expanding store openings.

2. Some Products Can Be Purchased Online — Pick Up In Store
Some products can be purchased through the official online store "Gashapon Bandai Official Shop Online," operated by Bandai Namco Amusement, and picked up at the counter of stores that support online pickup.
In-store pickup service will launch at a later date.
3. A "Gashapon Experience" Unique to the Official Shop
The store features the "Gashapoint Station" empty capsule collection box, where visitors can experience the handle-turning action that gave "Gashapon" its name — "turn it with a gasha, and a capsule pops out with a pon." A showcase displaying featured products is also on hand, and the store will offer the Bandai Namco Group's signature entertainment-rich services, including purchase campaigns and customer participation events.
