ATTITU (アティテュ), a brand by Tsuchiya Kaban operating under the concept "No right answer is the new standard," will open its first directly-operated store in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, on April 4, 2026 (Saturday). The store will be located on the second floor of the existing TSUCHIYA KABAN Kamakura store. A new collection of eight backpack-centered items will go on sale starting April 3, 2026 (Friday), with shoes also joining the lineup for the first time.
A Space with Room to Breathe, Reflecting Kamakura's Mood
Kamakura is a city that carries centuries of history while continuously giving birth to new culture. The store interior has been crafted to harmonize with this distinctive atmosphere — spacious, with a sense of breathing room and subtle playfulness woven in. In keeping with the brand's ethos of thinking beyond convention, the store aims to be a place where that same spirit of freedom comes through.

New Collection
The new collection centers on the brand's signature backpacks, combining lightweight construction for easy movement around the city with minimal forms that dial back decoration. Shoes make their ATTITU debut with this release as well.

Taking the silhouette of the signature NYLON BACKPACK L 001 and reworking it into a small and a mini size. The compact proportions give each bag its own iconic presence.

The drawstring construction creates a soft shape with naturally occurring drape. A cotton-like nylon fabric, thick cords, and a leather tag keep the look grounded despite the inherently soft design. Practical features like a front pocket and trolley sleeve are included, while the overall feel remains lighter and more relaxed than a traditional daypack.
SHOES L 011 / SHOES M 012 / SHOES S 013 — All ¥35,200 (tax included)
The upper combines two types of leather with mesh and suede-like materials, all finished in a clean all-black look. A buckled side strap and an elastic shoe strap ensure a secure fit while still allowing the ease of a slip-on. Vibram soles bring the feel somewhere between dress shoes and sneakers. Available in three sizes (S, M, L).
Kamakura Store-Exclusive Color
To mark the opening, a limited-quantity "Black × Light Blue" colorway featuring a light blue leather tag — inspired by where the sea meets the city in Kamakura — will be sold exclusively at the Kamakura store.
Four Additional Limited Colors
Alongside the Kamakura-only colorway, four more limited-edition colors — "Black × Lime Green," "Black × Neon Yellow," "Black × Off White 02," and "Black × Gray" — will also be available. These can be purchased at the Kamakura store, the official online store, and select TSUCHIYA KABAN locations.
