Onari Sauna, a sauna in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture produced by GREENING Inc. and operated together with Kayac Inc., is teaming up with Swiss sports brand On for a special event on July 26, 2026 (Sunday) that combines running and sauna. The program pairs a TryOn experience with On's popular running shoe "Cloudmonster 3," a roughly 7km group run along the Kamakura coastline, and a sauna session at Onari Sauna, connecting "running" and "totonou" (the sense of balance reached through sauna) into one seamless experience, with a refreshing feeling after exercise followed by deep relaxation.
Run with On, Then Deeply Recover at Onari Sauna
Onari Sauna offers a "totonou" experience distinct from a typical sauna, built around a steam design that avoids the feeling of breathlessness and an original "human loyly" technique that creates a deep sense of immersion. The sauna room uses an electric steam generator called "MAD ENGINE" together with an original air intake system, carefully controlling the flow of steam to create a warm environment that feels properly hot while still being easy to breathe in. The facility's "human loyly" technique also pours cold water over the body once body temperature and heart rate have risen, briefly cooling the body while guests remain in the sauna, so the heat slowly and thoroughly penetrates deep into the body.
From there, the flow from the cold plunge bath to the rooftop outdoor relaxation space leads guests into a deep state of relaxation. In the open rooftop space where a pleasant breeze passes through, guests can feel the sky and outside air with their whole body and enjoy the "totonou" experience unique to Onari Sauna.
