What is Banshu Ori?
Banshu Ori is a cotton yarn-dyed textile produced in the Kita-Harima region, located in the central part of Hyogo Prefecture. Its distinctive feature is the "yarn-dyeing" technique, where yarns are dyed in various colors first, then woven into patterns.
The natural blessings and rich environment of the region create a natural texture, varied feel, and rich coloration in each piece of fabric.
Banshu Ori holds a significant market share in domestic cotton yarn-dyed textile production. Based on a long tradition, it continues to evolve daily.
