Starting Saturday, November 14, 2026, STRICT-G, the Gundam-inspired apparel shop of the Lifestyle Business Division at Bandai Co., Ltd., will sell four silk coin purses based on Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. The purses are made by the long-established Hakata-ori weaving house サヌイ織物 and are modeled on the half-face "niwaka masks" of Hakata Niwaka (博多仁和加), a folk performing art of Fukuoka.
Pre-orders open on Premium Bandai, the Bandai Namco Group's official online shopping site (https://p-bandai.jp/), on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The coin purses are also scheduled to go on sale at the 火消魂 (HiKESHi SPiRiT) POP UP that is currently underway.

STRICT-G Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM Niwaka Coin Purse
The coin purses bring together Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM and Hakata-ori, a traditional craft with a history of more than 780 years. サヌイ織物 makes and sells Hakata-ori products, preserving the tradition while pursuing new possibilities.
The silk coin purses are modeled on the half-face niwaka masks of Hakata Niwaka, a Fukuoka folk performing art that many people think of when they hear "Hakata." The humorous designs may well bring a smile. The zipper slider carries a shamoji (rice paddle) charm, which expresses a Hakata feel.
