Baumkuchen Expo 2026 is coming to Daimaru Sapporo's 7th floor event space from April 15 (Wed) to April 20 (Mon), 2026. The six-day event gathers a diverse range of baumkuchen from all over Japan — from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south — and is organized by the Baumkuchen Expo Executive Committee (within Juchheim Co., Ltd.).
Around 300 Varieties of Baumkuchen from Across Japan
The expo features a local baumkuchen corner with entries from approximately 160 brands representing all 47 prefectures, plus 19 brand popup booths — bringing the total to around 240 varieties on offer. The lineup runs the gamut from classic baumkuchen to fruit-infused varieties and uniquely shaped creations that are as enjoyable to look at as they are to eat.
