To mark its 10th anniversary, kimono rental chain VASARA is releasing women's yukata sets featuring newly drawn illustrations from its collaboration with the TV anime Blue Lock, titled "Blue Lock × Kimono Rental VASARA -YUKATA SELECTION-." The sets go on sale at 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, through the VASARA official online store.
The lineup spans six designs: Isagi Yoichi, Itoshi Rin, Nagi Seishiro, Bachira Meguru, Chigiri Hyoma, and Hiori Yo. Each character's personality and favorite things are reflected in the yukata, obi, and other design elements.
Each set includes four items — yukata, obi, obi-dome, and hair ornament — with only 50 sets available per character.
A Special Set That Brings the Newly Drawn Illustrations to Life
These items turn the collaboration's exclusive illustrations of the characters in yukata into wearable women's yukata.
Staying true to the mood of the original artwork, each yukata, obi, obi-dome, and hair ornament was coordinated as a complete look. Colors and motifs symbolic of each character are woven throughout, creating designs that let wearers feel the world of Blue Lock while actually wearing them.
Designed with each character's motifs and colors, the sets are meant to be enjoyed not only on special occasions like summer festivals and fireworks displays but also for everyday outings and events. They also work well as collectible items for feeling close to the characters.
Isagi Yoichi Yukata Set
The yukata features a design based on the jigsaw puzzle motif that, in the series, symbolizes Isagi Yoichi's process of rebuilding himself.
The obi-dome and hair ornament also incorporate the jigsaw puzzle motif, while the obi is a simple design in his character color.

The yukata is patterned with a motif of the prickly pear (uchiwa) cactus that Nagi Seishiro likes.
The obi, in his character color, is embroidered with a sloth. The obi-dome is also a ceramic piece with a sloth motif. The hair ornament is designed to evoke a cactus flower.

The obi is a simple design in his character color. The obi-dome and hair ornament both feature an owl motif, reflecting Itoshi Rin's favorite animal.

Snowflakes inspired by the newly drawn illustration are designed into both the yukata and the obi.
The obi-dome is a ceramic sheep — Hiori Yo's favorite animal, which he feels an affinity for since his own name includes the character for "sheep" ("baa") — and the hair ornament also carries a snowflake motif, tying the whole look together.

About Blue Lock
Blue Lock, an egoist-forward-development soccer manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) since 2018 by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (story) and Yusuke Nomura (art), has surpassed 60 million copies in worldwide circulation (as of September 2025) and won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the boys' category.
The TV anime adaptation aired for two well-received seasons: Season 1 from October 2022 to March 2023, and Season 2, Blue Lock vs. U-20 Japan, from October to December 2024. The franchise's first film, Blue Lock the Movie -Episode Nagi-, was released nationwide on April 19, 2024. A continuation of the TV anime series has also been confirmed, along with a live-action film scheduled for release in August 2026.
