Starting May 1 (Friday), Buttery at Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Anjo in Anjo City, Aichi Prefecture, is releasing a new lineup of early-summer sweets. The new offerings include a Lemon Madeleine, Cherry Financier, and Blueberry Mille-Feuille, all made with seasonal fruits that capture the feel of the approaching summer.
The Lemon Madeleine incorporates lemon jam and lemon zest into the batter, then is finished with icing and pistachios for a bright, refreshing flavor.
The Cherry Financier pairs Griottine cherries with cinnamon, delivering a rich fragrance and a sophisticated, grown-up taste.
The Blueberry Mille-Feuille is a new flavor added to the store's signature mille-feuille lineup. It features a special cream made with fresh cream, custard, and blueberry jam, layered generously with blueberry jam and decorated with icing. Since the cream is filled to order, the pastry's flaky layers stay satisfyingly crisp.
In addition to the new sweets, a range of Mother's Day gift sets and other gift items are also available at the store.
