Kracie's hair care brand Dear Beauté HIMAWARI, which aims to care for the "hair distortion" that causes waviness, kinks, and dryness and to lead to manageable hair, is releasing a collaboration with the popular character Moomin. The Moomin-designed "Out-Bath Treatment Series," treatments used outside the bath, goes on sale in limited quantities, starting with the Treatment Water on Monday, November 9, 2026.
Background
Dear Beauté HIMAWARI's limited-design Moomin collaboration products have been enjoyed by many customers each time they were released.
This time, the collaboration covers four out-bath treatments that care for the "hair distortion" caused by everyday styling and suit the dry season.
Under the theme "The Beginning of Winter in Moomin Valley," each product features a different character:
- Treatment Water (浸透美容トリートメントウォーター), used before brushing, blow-drying, or flat-ironing: Little My
- Treatment Repair Milk (トリートメントリペアミルク), which keeps moisture supple: Stinky
- Premium Repair Oil (Smooth) (プレミアム リペアオイル（スムース）), which leads to soft, shiny hair through to the ends: Moomin
- Premium Repair Oil (Moist) (プレミアム リペアオイル（モイスト）), which leads to moist, well-contained hair: Snufkin
The designs show the characters' rich expressions and movement as they enjoy winter. The sides of the Milk and Oil boxes also show a winter scene featuring a different character. Which characters appear is left to be discovered in stores.
The series is meant to make hair care in the dry season something to look forward to, by caring for hair distortion and leading to manageable hair.
Note: "Hair distortion" refers to an imbalance of moisture and oil inside the hair, combined with uneven peeling of the outer cuticle, which causes waviness, kinks, and dryness.
