The Sauvage Men's Care line from Dior is expanding its hair care offering with the launch of a Shampoo and Hair Serum on March 6, 2026. Both products are built around cactus extracts cultivated sustainably at Dior's dedicated men's skincare garden on the volcanic island of Lanzarote, Spain.
A New Hair Care Ritual
The Shampoo features a white, creamy texture that lathers into a fine, enveloping foam. Formulated with cactus stem extract*¹ cultivated in Lanzarote under Dior's expertise, it cleanses gently while preserving moisture. The scent leaves a subtle, fresh woody aromatic impression characteristic of Sauvage.
Following the shampoo, the Hair Serum rounds out the ritual. Available in limited quantities, this leave-in treatment is enriched with both cactus stem extract¹ and cactus oil extract². The lightweight, hydrating formula adds moisture and shine without weighing hair down, and works equally well on wet or dry hair. It carries the same fresh, woody aromatic Sauvage scent.
Both the Shampoo and Hair Serum come housed in distinctive midnight blue bottles that reflect the Sauvage aesthetic.
The Power of Cactus
Cactus is a plant known for its remarkable resilience — drawing on its inner vitality overnight to withstand water-scarce desert conditions. At the Dior Garden in Lanzarote, grown on arid volcanic soil under regenerative agriculture principles, cactus is cultivated without chemicals or pesticides and with only minimal water, then harvested entirely by hand.
The stems and fruit of the cactus are subsequently transformed into beneficial hair care ingredients at the Dior laboratory.
