Freshness Burger is bringing winter flavors to its menu with the launch of two limited-edition burgers featuring Hokkaido snow crab. From January 21 to February 24, 2026, customers can enjoy the "Snow Crab Cream Croquette Burger" in two sauce variations: Rich Tomato Sauce and Brown Butter Sauce, each priced at ¥890.
A Luxurious Take on Classic Western Cuisine
The new burgers transform the popular Western dish of cream croquettes into a handheld feast. Each burger features two generous cream croquettes made with Hokkaido snow crab meat, Hokkaido milk-based béchamel sauce, and breadcrumbs from Hokkaido wheat. The crab is sautéed with butter and wine to enhance its natural sweetness and umami, while crab miso adds depth to the flavor profile.
What sets these burgers apart is the extra crab meat generously piled on top of the croquettes, allowing diners to fully savor the seafood's delicious taste.
Two Distinctive Sauce Options
Customers can choose between two carefully crafted sauces:
Rich Tomato Sauce
A classic Western-style tomato sauce that balances umami and acidity perfectly, reminiscent of traditional Western restaurants.
Brown Butter Sauce
A sophisticated sauce that incorporates the French culinary technique of browning butter (beurre noisette), delivering a deep, nutty richness that complements the croquettes' creamy texture.
Both sauces enhance the crispy exterior and creamy interior of the croquettes, creating layers of rich flavor with every bite.
Limited-Time Side Menu
Accompanying the burgers is the "Dip Potato with Three-Herb Tartar" (¥390), available as an upgrade to regular or premium sets for an additional ¥50. The side features hot, crispy Hokkaido potatoes paired with a special tartar sauce mixed with rosemary, oregano, and thyme seasoning. The chunky tartar sauce generously coats the freshly fried potatoes.
Seasonal Craft Lemonade
To complement the meal, Freshness Burger is also offering "Amaou Craft Lemonade" in both iced (¥540) and hot (¥540) versions. The drink features premium Amaou strawberries from Fukuoka Prefecture, carefully prepared in-house by soaking them in honey with fruit pulp, then combined with honey-soaked lemon slices.
