Fuji-Q Highland, in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture, which offers free park admission, opens its seasonal water play area for young children, "Kids Jappaan!", again this year on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Now in its third year, the event offers cool, refreshing water play using Mt. Fuji's natural spring water, along with a new addition this year: the "Floating Duck Pool," filled with a large number of yellow rubber ducks.
The 1,300-square-meter area features water activities using Mt. Fuji's natural spring water, including two types of slides and two types of pools. The spring water is gentle and clear, staying around 18°C even in midsummer, offering a cool, refreshing experience well suited to the hot season. The area also includes a slide pool less than 50 cm deep and a dedicated pool for children still in diapers, making it a good fit for a young child's first pool experience.
This year also brings the "Floating Duck Pool," where a large number of yellow rubber ducks fill the water, along with several other cool, family-friendly events: the "Soaking Wet Duck Dance Time," where guests dance along with on-site staff to an original, tropical-themed song, and the "Parent-Child Water Gun Battle," where parents and children splash each other with water.
This summer, families can cool off together at "Kids Jappaan!", surrounded by Mt. Fuji's refreshing natural spring water and rubber ducks.
