Futakotamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu Introduces Nagano and Ueda's Autumn Harvest in a Limited-Time Set Meal and Dessert

Futakotamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu (Futakotamagawa Rise, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Tatsuo Kawachi) is holding "Nagano City × Ueda City: A Journey of Pure Shinshu Cuisine" at its 30th-floor venue, The 30th Dining Bar, from September 11 (Friday) to September 27 (Sunday), 2026.

The event puts the spotlight on Nagano City and Ueda City — two cities that share Nagano Prefecture yet have grown a rich variety of agricultural and livestock products thanks to their distinct climates and natural surroundings. The menu draws on the abundance of both cities' farms to let the character of each ingredient shine.

Roasted Venison Loin and Sautéed Mushrooms with Japonaise Sauce

The centerpiece of the Nagano-Ueda Set Meal, this dish makes use of venison raised in Nagano Prefecture's natural surroundings as a "gift of the mountains." The fine-grained, low-fat meat carries a rich flavor and concentrated umami, brought out here with a Japonaise sauce built on the depth of soy sauce.

Tempura of Black Abalone Mushroom, Okra, and Long Eggplant with Dried Daikon Miso

Fried light and crisp to let the ingredients' natural flavor come through, this tempura is served alongside a fragrant, mellow Koshihikari miso mixed with chopped dried daikon (kiriboshi daikon). The dried daikon's texture adds an accent, drawing out the miso's rich umami.

The set meal is rounded out with firm-textured Shinshu soba, showcasing the range of prized ingredients grown in Nagano City and Ueda City.

Baked Gorgonzola Cheesecake with Nagano City Grapes and Nagano Purple Sorbet

Available from tea time onward, this dessert blends three grape varieties with distinct flavors — Nagano Purple, Queen Rouge®, and Shine Muscat. The cheese-forward baked cheesecake is balanced by the grapes' gentle acidity, for a flavor suited to the season.
