Futakotamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu (Futakotamagawa Rise, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo) is launching "A Moment of Summer Memories Afternoon Tea" at its 30th-floor venue "The 30th Dining Bar" from July 1 to September 30, 2026.
The afternoon tea was created with the goal of offering guests a memory to treasure from summer. Themed around the vibrant colors of the season — red, orange, and yellow — it features a full selection of 12 savory and sweet items to be enjoyed during a graceful afternoon high above the city.
Upper Tier

The standout item on the upper tier is the "Yogurt Mousse in Soft-Serve Style." The whimsical design mimics a soft-serve ice cream cone, with a generous swirl of refreshing, tangy yogurt mousse piped into a small cone, and a base of rich custard cream paired with peach. The combination of airy yogurt mousse and indulgent custard creates a satisfying contrast. Also on the upper tier, the "Smoked Salmon and Mousse Roll Sandwich" leaves a bright, lingering finish thanks to its lemon-infused flavour, which draws out the natural richness of the ingredients.
Middle Tier

A corn soup made from one of summer's most iconic ingredients offers a gentle sweetness and umami that fills the palate — light and refreshing even in the heat. The "Tomato Capellini with Ceviche" pairs the pleasing acidity of tomatoes with a shrimp and octopus marinade inspired by ceviche, the traditional Peruvian dish.
Lower Tier

Four desserts glimmer like a jewellery box packed with summer's vivid hues. Among them, a mango trifle showcases the fruit's signature deep-orange colour, lush sweetness, and fragrant aroma, layered with smooth whipped cream for a dish that beautifully balances richness and acidity.
The final highlight is the "Watermelon and Almond Tofu" (スイカと杏仁豆腐), a visually cooling dessert where silky-smooth almond tofu meets jelly and juicy watermelon slices. The layered palette of pink, white, and clear tones is captured in a single glass for an effect that is as refreshing to the eye as it is to the palate.
Guests are invited to spend a memorable summer afternoon savouring seasonal flavours and vivid colours, all framed by the sweeping view 130 metres above ground.
