Early Spring Delights Afternoon Tea at Futakotamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu - Seasonal Experience at 130 Meters Above Ground

Futakotamagawa Excel Hotel Tokyu (located in Futakotamagawa Rise, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Tatsuo Kawachi) will offer "Early Spring Delights Afternoon Tea" at The 30th Dining Bar on the 30th floor from Wednesday, January 14, 2026 through Saturday, February 28, 2026.

In the crisp winter air, hints of spring's colors gradually emerge. This afternoon tea captures the essence of the changing seasons. The top tier features a white theme expressing winter's serenity, while descending to the middle and lower tiers, the colors gradually intensify to evoke the arrival of spring. The experience includes a total of 12 savory and dessert items.

Top Tier

Top Tier Afternoon Tea

The top tier presents a winter-inspired selection with four white-themed savory items. The "Cauliflower Mousse with Consommé Jelly" features fluffy cauliflower mousse combined with umami-rich consommé jelly, delivering a gentle sweetness and rich depth. The "Duck Prosciutto and Arugula Tortilla" harmonizes rich cheese with prosciutto, enhancing the savory flavor of the duck.

Middle Tier

Middle Tier Afternoon Tea

As snow melts and spring's warmth gradually emerges, the middle tier presents dishes in warm tones. "Kinako Boules de Neige" are generously coated with the fragrant and subtly sweet flavor of roasted soybean flour. This confection marries Japanese kinako with Western boules de neige, creating a treat with soft, gentle sweetness.

Lower Tier

Lower Tier Afternoon Tea

The lower tier features four colorful desserts adorned with spring-like items to evoke the season's vibrant colors. The "Yuzu Jelly" gently captures winter's lingering essence with its refreshing aroma and gentle acidity. The "Matcha Warabi Mochi" offers an elegant taste that harmonizes matcha's rich aroma with subtle bitterness, giving a preview of spring.

From winter's white palette to the gentle colors of blooming flowers in spring. Experience the changing seasons through this special afternoon tea at The 30th Dining Bar, a distinctive venue offering views of the Tama River and Mount Fuji from 130 meters above ground. Enjoy a delightful afternoon.

The hotel will continue to develop attractive offerings that showcase its unique character.
