A New Flower Maze Blooms With Sunflowers

A new "Flower Maze" opens in early September at an elevation of roughly 1,030 meters. Making use of the flower fields spread across the mountaintop area served by the sky lift, it's a hands-on maze set against sweeping panoramic views of the Tanigawa mountain range and the Echigo Sanzan peaks. Sunflowers have begun blooming there this month, offering a scenic maze experience that's available nowhere else, carried on the cool breeze of a September mountaintop.

The Flower Maze sits near the popular 愛の鐘展望台 observation deck, as well as the Panorama Coaster and Panorama Seesaw, which both opened this summer (activity ticket required), making it easy to combine with a visit to the maze.

4WD Off-Road RC Car Experience

A new "4WD Off-Road RC Car Experience" has been added on a dedicated course next to the plaza in front of チアーズ. Guests can tackle an undulating, purpose-built off-road course using a handheld controller. Piloting the car exactly as intended against a backdrop of nature offers a rush that's just as appealing to kids as it is to adults who once had a passion for RC cars.

Price: ¥1,000 for 15 minutes (tax included)

Panorama Coaster: This Summer's Breakout Attraction

The large-scale "Panorama Coaster," running since August 7, has become the park's most popular attraction this summer. Since it opened, around 2,000 guests have already ridden it, and views of it on social media have reached an all-time high, even counting the winter season. The ride offers excitement and thrills found nowhere else.
