Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (President: Nobuyuki Okajima) has announced the spring and summer dining menu for Car 4 of the GRAN Tenku train, scheduled to begin operations on April 24, 2026 (Friday)*. The menu is supervised by Chef Atsushi Motokawa of Restaurant "Genji," located along the railway line, and will be served to passengers seated in the "Gran Seat" and "Gran Seat Plus" sections of Car 4. Three menu options are available depending on the departure time: Morning, Lunch, and Afternoon Tea. New seasonal menus featuring fresh local ingredients will continue to be introduced throughout the year.
The newly announced spring and summer menu highlights ingredients from the Senshu, Minami Kawachi, and Wakayama regions, including Kawachi duck and Senshu octopus, expressing the charm of these local areas. The spring and summer menu is scheduled to be offered until late September, with subsequent menus to be announced later.

Additionally, passengers on the Morning, Lunch, and Afternoon Tea plans in the "Gran Seat" and "Gran Seat Plus" sections will enjoy complimentary soft drinks and alcoholic beverages featuring local specialties. (A food-free plan with one drink is also available.) Details of the drink menu will be announced as soon as they are finalized.
Spring/Summer Menu Details
The menu features creative dishes using abundant ingredients from Senshu, Minami Kawachi, and Wakayama, including Kawachi duck, Senshu octopus, and local vegetables. The menu is also enhanced with regional specialties such as jabara (a citrus fruit) and fresh sansho (Japanese pepper), designed to provide a refreshing spring and summer flavor experience. Both Morning and Lunch menus are served in handcrafted "okamochi" (traditional Japanese food carriers) made by skilled artisans.
