Against a backdrop of rising sports bike prices due to increased raw material costs, logistics expenses, and currency fluctuations, the "ESCAPE X3" achieves a manufacturer's suggested retail price of ¥59,950 (tax included) - the most accessible in the "Escape" series. It's an entry model that embodies GIANT's desire to bring the joy of cycling to as many people as possible.
The slim aluminum frame, based on the classic "Escape R3" model, features geometry that reduces upper body forward lean. Combined with a riser bar handlebar that positions grips higher, it creates a relaxed and comfortable riding position that even sports bike beginners can handle with confidence.
Following the concept of the upper model "Escape X" released last October, the bike comes standard with 38C wide tires that combine nimble riding, vibration absorption, and confidence on rough surfaces and in wet conditions. Stable riding is possible regardless of road conditions.
The saddle features an "Ergo Contact" design that accommodates casual clothing. Thick cushion padding and a central cutout design soften impacts from the road surface, reducing pain and numbness to support nimble and comfortable riding.
The size lineup covers five options accommodating riders from approximately 140cm to 190cm in height. Crank length, handlebar width, and stem length are finely adjusted according to frame size, achieving optimal and natural fit regardless of body type.
Frame colors feature three options based on subdued earth tones that blend into both city and nature. The coloring subtly highlights individual character without being overly assertive, quietly elevating daily rides.
