A Strawberry Breakfast Fair is running at RISTORANTE E'VOLTA -il cielo-, the 16th-floor all-day dining restaurant inside Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier, from March 27 (Fri) to March 31 (Tue), 2026 — a five-day limited event. Fresh seasonal strawberries of the Yayoihime variety, sourced directly from a farm, can be enjoyed freely as part of the breakfast buffet spread.
The breakfast buffet includes a wide range of Japanese and Western dishes, such as freshly baked whole-wheat galettes, crepes, and grilled items, with spring-exclusive strawberry dishes added to the lineup for the duration of the fair. The restaurant, located on the 16th floor of the only tower hotel in Ginza, is designed around the concept of "the refinement of Japanese-ness," and offers an open, urban view of Hamarikyu Gardens' greenery and the Tokyo cityscape through full-height windows.
Large, Sweet Yayoihime Strawberries
The fair features Yayoihime strawberries grown at Usamien, a strawberry farm in Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Yayoihime is a variety known for its large size, uniform shape, vivid red color, glossy skin, and rich sweetness with depth of flavor. The buffet incorporates this variety into a variety of dishes, including crepes, shortcake, tarts, pancakes, strawberry daifuku, and strawberry smoothies.
