Godiva Japan Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) launches "Chocolat Florentine" on February 6, 2026 (Friday), with a limited quantity pre-sale at Tsuruya Department Store. The product will also be available from mid-March at select Godiva shops and GODIVA cafés nationwide.
Born from a collaboration with Antrême Kaju, a Japanese-Western confectionery shop founded in 1965 and based in Kumamoto City, "Chocolat Florentine" brings together tradition and innovation.
Chocolat Florentine
A stick-style florentine highlighting the fragrant aroma of almonds. The dough, made with Belgian chocolate, is combined with a paste using Kumamoto Prefecture's citrus "Shiranui." Within the sweetness of the chocolate, a refreshing citrus fragrance gently spreads.

Through the collaboration between our signature product "Florentine" and Godiva, we realized the dream-like challenge of fusing "Kumamoto's abundant harvest" with "the emotion of chocolate."
The most challenging aspect was connecting the vibrant juicy acidity and rich sweetness of Kumamoto Prefecture's Shiranui with the flavor of chocolate. After many trials, we arrived at this "Chocolat Florentine." When you take a bite, the citrus aroma of Shiranui spreads, and the lingering taste of chocolate immediately follows.
