[Goûter] in Gakugeidaigaku Releases Father's Day Bear Financiers and New Summer Danish Pastries

[Goûter] (グテ), a bread and sweets shop by Lyon-based patissier and chocolatier Sébastien Bouillet, is selling a limited-edition Father's Day baked treat called "Papa Nounours" from Monday, June 15, 2026.

Starting Saturday, June 20, two new summer danish pastries — "Couche Pêche" and "Couche Mangue" — also arrive at the shop, made with seasonal fruits. These new additions reflect [Goûter]'s signature playful Lyon spirit combined with carefully selected ingredients.

Father's Day Limited Edition: Bear-Shaped Coffee Financier with a Mint-Green Tie

For Father's Day, [Goûter] has created a special "Nounours" (French for teddy bear) wearing a cute mint-green tie. The financier is made using specialty coffee actually served at the Gakugeidaigaku store.

The moment you take a bite, the rich aroma of coffee spreads through your mouth, followed by the moist texture characteristic of financier and a deep, pleasantly bitter finish. It makes a thoughtful gift for fathers who aren't big fans of overly sweet treats, or a great companion for a coffee break.

New Summer Arrivals: "Couche" Danish Pastries Layered with Seasonal Fruits

"Couche" (クーシュ) means "layer" in French. Two new flavors arrive — both featuring the shop's signature crispy danish dough baked into a generous cylindrical cup shape, filled with summer fruits. Each danish is dusted with powdered sugar and coconut around the rim for a refreshing summer look.

Couche Pêche (Peach)

The cylindrical danish dough, layered many times to golden perfection, is packed generously with aromatic peach cream and finished with a refreshing jelly. Topped with juicy, ripe peach pieces and a sprig of mint, this is a summer snack that perfectly captures [Goûter]'s style — with cream and the gentle sweetness of peach melting together with every bite.

Couche Pêche: ¥476 (tax included)

Couche Mangue (Mango)

The fragrant danish dough is filled with rich, vibrant mango cream and finished with a tangy passion fruit sauce. Topped generously with large, fresh mango pieces and accented with pistachios for color, the tropical sweetness of mango and the acidity of passion fruit make for a bold and refreshing summer combination.

Couche Mangue: ¥497 (tax included)
