The Lobby Cafe at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba, set on an open atrium lobby floor where soft light pours in, will serve the "White Prelude Afternoon Tea – A Tea Time Celebrating the Arrival of Winter" for a limited time from November 1 (Sunday) to December 31 (Thursday), 2026. Built around white colors reminiscent of a snowy landscape, the menu also features savories accented with Christmas red and green.
The Lobby Cafe serves an afternoon tea with a different theme each season. For November and December, the theme is "white," evoking the arrival of winter, and the menu is inspired by the "White Castle," a castle standing in a silver-white world.
The top tier layers pain de Gênes, white roll cake, vanilla macarons, and more into a gorgeous cake reminiscent of a castle. The middle tier features a swan-shaped item and other bite-sized sweets, depicting the moat that surrounds the castle. The bottom tier holds savories made with cranberry, pistachio, tuna, roast beef, and more, with ingredients in Christmas colors used as accents on a white base.
From December 1 to December 25, a special "Christmas White Afternoon Tea" plan that comes with a Christmas ornament and a celebratory toast drink is also available.
Styled like a scene cut out of a story, the afternoon tea colors a silver-white world.
