Footwear brand grounds, operated by FOOLS Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takuya Kanamaru), is releasing a new outsole called "GRAFFITI," first unveiled during Paris Fashion Week FW26/27. Sales begin September 26, 2026, rolling out in stages.
Built on the sole of the brand's signature "MOOPIE," GRAFFITI reworks it into a lighter, more comfortable ride. Five translucent, gummy-like parts cling to the sole for a distinctive look, sold through the official online store and directly operated shops.
About "GRAFFITI"
GRAFFITI is a new outsole based on grounds' signature model "MOOPIE," with the sole's angle and materials reworked. The incline has been flattened out, and a lightweight Phylon is used for the sole body, keeping the voluminous shape while giving it a sneaker-like, lightweight feel.
The outer side of the sole carries the same iconic rubber parts seen on "MOOPIE." In addition, five translucent TPU parts, in a mix of sizes, are scattered across it. The gummy-like parts clinging to the sole add an organic, unusual expression to the sole's industrial functional beauty. The sole stands at about 7cm tall.

The upper combines a range of materials across different parts, while flowing, intersecting CPU parts create a three-dimensional contrast. It's an expressive shoe where a variety of elements coexist within a single pair.
