Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort, operated by Hakuba Alps Hotel Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Otari Village, Kitaazumi District, Nagano Prefecture), will begin selling joint season passes with neighboring Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort starting Monday, September 1, 2025. While heli-skiing was offered from March 21 last year, this season it will be available during peak season from mid-January to early March, allowing more guests to experience extraordinary skiing in spectacular natural surroundings. Additionally, improvements including renovations to the main restaurant 'Snow Drop', restroom upgrades, and expanded day-trip parking will create a more comfortable environment for visitors. The resort also features heated pools and jacuzzis that can be used even in winter, as well as family rooms convenient for family and group trips, offering fulfilling experiences beyond the slopes.

①Joint Season Pass with Neighboring Ski Resort Now Available at Super Early Bird Prices

A joint season pass allowing access to both Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort and Hakuba Cortina Ski Resort with a single ticket will be available at super early bird prices starting September 1, 2025. This season introduces Flex Cancel tickets (tickets with flexible cancellation guarantee), offering both refundable and non-refundable pass options to provide customers with peace of mind and guarantee coverage for unexpected situations. ※Available for web purchase only

Additionally, the "Alps No. 11 Pair Lift (commonly known as: Yamanokami Lift)" can be used more smoothly by completing a web waiver application and ticket purchase in advance. ※Details will be announced on the website once finalized

②Winter Hakuba Views from Above! Heli-Skiing Tours Resume This Season

"Hakuba Heli-Skiing," departing from the Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort heliport by helicopter to near the ski resort summit and skiing down vast snow fields from 2,110m elevation, is scheduled to begin operations from January 2026. Guests can access normally inaccessible locations and ski or snowboard down approximately 2km of ungroomed slopes. Skiing courses are determined by guides considering snow quality and other factors. Enjoy winter Hakuba's spectacular views while experiencing tree runs through forest intervals and the high-quality powder snow that the Hakuba area is renowned for.

③Restaurant 'Snow Drop' Renovations, Parking Expansion, and New Convenience Facilities

The restaurant "Snow Drop" within Hakuba Norikura Onsen Ski Resort has undergone renovation work with increased seating capacity, creating an environment where guests can relax comfortably even during busy periods. The main restrooms in the facility have also been renovated, with a new powder corner added to the women's restroom, providing a comfortable space for touch-ups and other needs.

To provide greater comfort for guests arriving by car, day-trip parking has been expanded to accommodate approximately 800 vehicles total. This ensures visitors can arrive with confidence even during weekends and busy periods.

Furthermore, to expand dining options during slope stays, kitchen cars will be introduced. Additionally, two new automatic ticket machines that allow direct lift ticket purchases via credit card have been added. While last year's introduction only allowed pickup of online purchases, this year guests can purchase lift tickets directly from the machines. The ski resort offers world-renowned powder snow from the famous Hakuba area while enhancing convenience initiatives for skiers, delivering comfortable and memorable winter sports experiences.

④Comfortable for Families and Friends! Last Year's Renovated Family Rooms and Heated Pool & Jacuzzi

"Hakuba Alps Hotel," offering ski-in/ski-out access, underwent major room renovations in December 2024, providing bunk bed-type rooms. Accommodating up to five guests, the secret hideout-like design delights children's hearts. With minimal steps for safe stays, these rooms are perfect for family ski trips or friend group getaways.

Additionally, the hotel grounds feature heated pools and jacuzzis available even in winter. Guests can enjoy special moments relaxing while viewing snow-covered landscapes. These facilities are ideal for post-skiing relaxation time and creating memories with family and friends.
