The Hasami Pottery Festival 2026 will be held at Yakimono Park in Hasami Town, Nagasaki, from April 29 to May 5 — a seven-day event gathering approximately 150 pottery vendors in a single, walkable venue.
With kilns, trading companies, and artisan shops all concentrated within Yakimono Park, visitors can browse a wide variety of Hasami ware in one trip. This is also a period when popular Hasami ware is available at prices lower than usual.
All booths are set up inside large tents, so shopping is comfortable even on rainy days.

The festival also includes hands-on pottery experiences unique to Hasami's ceramic production heritage. Slip casting and wheel throwing are available free of charge, while overglaze painting is offered for a fee. These activities make the event enjoyable for families with children as well.

A lottery is also held during the event, with prizes including original festival merchandise, hotel accommodation vouchers, and locally grown Hasami rice. One entry ticket is issued per ¥2,000 spent.
