&EARL GREY (And Earl Grey), a Kobe-based Earl Grey specialty shop — said to be Japan's first of its kind (as of April 2018, according to the company) — will be participating in the "NIB Nagasaki International Television's DEJIMA Expo Hirujige Gourmet Festival" at Nagasaki Mizube no Mori Park in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, from May 2 (Sat) to May 6 (Wed), 2026. The shop will be offering their popular soft cream, Lamington, and Hawaiian scones at the event.
Rich Earl Grey Soft Cream Scented with Natural Bergamot
Making soft cream from delicate tea requires a large quantity of tea leaves — &EARL GREY uses approximately 50 times the usual amount to create their signature brew. The resulting rich black tea soft cream, often described as "eating milk tea," draws long lines at events across Japan every time.
Served with a bittersweet framboise meringue.
- Product name: Earl Grey Rich Milk
- Price: 650 yen (tax included)
Blue Soft Cream Made with Mysterious Butterfly Pea Tea

This striking blue soft cream is made using butterfly pea tea, an herb often described as the "mysterious tea." Rich milk-based soft cream is infused with natural bergamot to add the refreshing aroma of Earl Grey.
The vivid blue color comes from anthocyanin — a natural pigment and one of the antioxidant polyphenols. It is served with a refreshing mint meringue.

[New in 2026] Lamington: Australia's Traditional Confection That Went Viral on Social Media

Making its debut at this event is the Lamington, Australia's beloved traditional confection that gained attention on social media. It features a sponge cake filled with apricot or raspberry jam, coated in chocolate, and generously dusted with coconut.
Three varieties are available: Earl Grey, Chocolate, and Plain.

Price: 400 yen each (tax included)
Hawaiian Scones: A New-Style Scone Loaded with Fruit and Cream Cheese

Unlike the familiar cylindrical English scone, Hawaiian scones use a cream cheese-rich dough mixed with fruit and other fillings — popular in Hawaii. Crispy on the outside and moist and fluffy on the inside, chunky pieces of cream cheese add a delightful texture throughout, making these scones enjoyable on their own without any accompaniments.
&EARL GREY's Hawaiian scones use a creamy, rich cream cheese made from raw milk and buttermilk sourced from Hokkaido, along with fresh cream (used in place of regular milk) for a deeply moist dough. The wheat flour is also domestically sourced.
Five varieties are available:
- Earl Grey & Orange Cream Cheese (Most Popular)
- Blueberry Cream Cheese
- Chocolate & Cookie Cream Cheese
- Caramel Milk Tea Cream Cheese
- Framboise Cream Cheese
Price: 400 yen each (tax included)
