Hiroshima Motomachi Aquarium (Director: Fumihiro Sato / Location: 7F Pacela, 6-78 Motomachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima City) will hold a special Valentine's Day event "Love in the Sea Valentine" starting February 11, 2026 (Wednesday). The aquarium will display the Furisode shrimp, characterized by its heart-shaped back pattern, in a special exhibition tank for a limited period, and will also sell limited-edition fish stamps.
The Furisode shrimp, as its name suggests, has pink and purple markings that resemble wearing a "furisode" (long-sleeved kimono), with a distinctive heart pattern on its back. During this period, the aquarium will sell fish stamps featuring a special limited-edition design of the "Furisode shrimp." This design, created by the aquarium staff, is recommended as a commemoration of visiting during the Valentine's period.

Limited Edition Fish Stamp
A limited design "Furisode Shrimp" will be added to the fish stamps that are on sale as commemorative items for visitors. This fish stamp is only available during the exhibition period.
