On Sunday, May 10, 2026, the area around the Water Stage at National Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki will host two simultaneous events. The day also falls during the spring urban greening promotion period, making it a free admission day at the park (parking fees apply separately).
Taste and Experience the Local Area at "Hitachinaka, Oarai, and Tokai PR Day"

The "Hitachinaka, Oarai, and Tokai PR Day" gathers local gourmet food, regional specialty products, and tourism PR booths in one place around the Water Stage area. Visitors can look forward to local favorites such as Nakaminato Yakisoba and shirasu senbei (baby sardine crackers), hands-on experience corners for families, and booths spotlighting recommended spots across the three municipalities.
New additions this year include a BMX experience corner and an Ibaraki Prefectural Police white motorcycle (hakubaiku) display corner, expanding the range of things to see and do.
