Hotel Aomori and 400 Years of Aomori City
Hotel Aomori is a city hotel located in the center of Aomori City and has grown alongside the city's development for many years. 2025 marks 400 years since the opening of Aomori's port, and 2026 marks 400 years since the city's founding.
In 1625, Tsugaru Nobuhira, the second lord of the Hirosaki domain, received permission for coastal shipping routes, an event regarded as the "opening of the port." In 1626, the place name "Aomori" came into being, marking the start of the city's development as a port town. Hotel Aomori aims to continue sharing the appeal of Aomori, cultivated over these 400 years of history, with guests from Japan and abroad.
Through this plan, in this special year marking 400 years since the opening of Aomori's port, Hotel Aomori hopes to offer guests a valuable stay in the suites before their renewal.
