Three-Pasta Tasting Lunch Course Arrives at Hotel New Otani Tokyo's Bella Vista

Western cuisine restaurant Bella Vista (ベッラ・ヴィスタ) at Hotel New Otani Tokyo is offering a special "Three-Pasta Tasting Lunch Course" to mark its first anniversary since renovation. Available on weekdays from June 1 (Monday) to June 30 (Tuesday), 2026, the course is limited to 10 servings per day, priced from ¥6,800 per person (service charge not included).

Bella Vista restaurant at Hotel New Otani Tokyo

Bella Vista is located on the 40th floor of Hotel New Otani's Garden Tower, offering panoramic views from 144 meters above ground. In June 2025, the restaurant underwent a renovation, shifting its concept toward a dining experience centered on grill cuisine finished over charcoal and wood fire, alongside an extensive wine list of approximately 700 bottles curated by a sommelier. The upcoming course marks the occasion of the restaurant's first full year since that transformation.

Three Pastas as the Star of the Course

Carbonara with Wood-Fired Bacon at Bella Vista

The highlight of the course is a trio of pastas served together, allowing diners to compare different flavors and styles. The standout among them is the "Carbonara with Wood-Fired Bacon" (薪炙りベーコンのカルボナーラ), which has become one of the restaurant's signature dishes since the renovation. It features juicy bacon made from "TOKYO X" pork, first seared over charcoal and then finished over a wood fire to draw out a rich, aromatic flavor, before being tossed in a creamy sauce and served with fresh tonnarelli pasta.

Alongside this, the course includes the classic "Fully Ripe Tomato Pomodoro" (完熟トマトのポモドーロ, also using fresh tonnarelli) and a "Today's Recommended Pasta" (本日のおすすめパスタ), which changes based on available seasonal ingredients. One of the three pastas can also be substituted for a "Seafood Pescatore" (海の幸のペスカトーレ) for an additional ¥500, though this change must apply to the entire table.

Appetizer Bar Available at Lunchtime

Before the pasta course, guests can help themselves to a buffet-style appetizer bar, exclusive to the lunch service. It features colorful salads and more than 10 varieties of appetizers inspired by French and Italian cuisine, offering a wide array of flavors and colors to enjoy before the main event.

Dessert: A Collaboration Between Pierre Hermé Paris and Pâtisserie SATSUKI

The course concludes with a dessert plate presented as a collaboration between Pierre Hermé Paris — which has its world's first boutique within the hotel — and Pâtisserie SATSUKI. For this period, the plate features a seasonal mango theme, with a selection of three sweets arranged together.

Seasonal Cold Pasta Also on Offer

Separately from the lunch course, Bella Vista is also introducing a seasonal à la carte dish: "Cold Pasta with Peach and Prosciutto, with Sichuan Pepper Accent" (桃と生ハムの冷製パスタ 山椒のアクセント). The dish combines peak-season peaches with a pleasant tingle of Japanese sichuan pepper. It is available from June 1 to September 15, 2026, priced at ¥3,500 for à la carte and from ¥5,900 as part of the pasta lunch or dinner course. Note that availability may change depending on ingredient supply.
