Chestnut and Grape Take Center Stage in a Buffet to Satisfy Both Appetite and Spirit

The Super Sweets Buffet has been held on weekends, with a different seasonal ingredient as its theme each time. For this appetite-driven season, chestnuts and grapes take the spotlight. Alongside the Mont Blanc, an autumn favorite, classic desserts such as Strawberry Shortcake and Roll Cake also appear in autumn-inspired versions.

A Buffet-Limited Chestnut Sweet, Plus a Chance to Savor Seasonal Ingredients

The Chestnut Shortcake, which pairs the refined sweetness of seasonal chestnuts with light cream, appears exclusively at this buffet. It is not sold at Patisserie SATSUKI, the hotel's in-house bakery and cake shop, so it's worth trying while it's available.

The Mont Blanc, wrapped in the hotel's original chestnut paste and loved for years, is joined by the smooth Chestnut Panna Cotta and a range of other chestnut sweets.

For sweets made with grapes, the quintessential autumn fruit, the lineup includes the Grape Jelly, packed with concentrated grape juice, and the Grape Roll, a soft, fluffy roll cake wrapped around grape agar. The buffet brings together a rich spread built around chestnuts and grapes, the fruits that represent autumn's harvest.

The lineup is rounded out by the classic Strawberry Shortcake, the seasonal Chestnut Shortcake, and the hotel's signature Super Melon Shortcake, giving guests the chance to compare all three shortcakes to their heart's content.

Made only with select musk melon carrying a sugar content of 14 degrees or higher, the Super Melon Shortcake is crafted with close attention to both the sponge and cream to bring out the fruit's flavor. Even at buffet size, it delivers the juicy taste of musk melon in every bite.

Japanese, Western, and Chinese Hotel Classics for All Three Generations to Enjoy

A varied lineup of hotel classics is also on offer. Guests can build their own seafood rice bowl, topped freely with salmon roe, tuna, and other seafood of their choosing, alongside the hotel's traditional roast beef and freshly fried tempura and kakiage, all served fresh from the chefs' live cooking stations.

The pizzas baked in the restaurant's stone oven also include two new additions that make the most of autumn flavors: the Eggplant and Mushroom Japanese-Style Pizza (lunch only) and the Salsiccia and Spinach Pizza (dinner only). Their chewy dough, carrying on the taste of New York-style pizza, offers a flavor worth trying.

A Sukiyaki Rice Bowl with a lightly sweet sauce that stirs the appetite is also part of the lineup, alongside kid-favorite dishes such as karaage, fried shrimp, corn dogs, and omurice, making the buffet one that all three generations of a family can enjoy together across Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes.
