Special Three-Layer Cake for Girls' Day
Created with the wish to add color to the important event of celebrating children's growth, this adorable shortcake is designed to resemble hishimochi, the traditional diamond-shaped rice cake associated with Hinamatsuri.
The cake features a three-layer design with strawberry-flavored pink sponge cake and matcha sponge cake with reduced bitterness, layered with fresh cream and domestic strawberries that children will love. The cake is decorated with the imperial couple (Odairi-sama and Ohina-sama) snuggling together, plum blossoms, and bonbori lanterns, created with the hope that the Hinamatsuri celebration will be filled with smiles.
