Featured Artworks
The exhibition showcases four pieces, including two works from a special series featuring pandas—a nod to Ueno's special connection with these beloved animals. The artist also includes winter-themed pieces depicting ski slopes and winter vacation scenes.
"Family 1996"

(2025, Acrylic gouache on canvas, F25)
During discussions with the hotel about this exhibition, the idea emerged to create artwork featuring pandas—a special symbol of Ueno. This piece captures a family's commemorative photo session in 1996, featuring a panda stuffed animal purchased in Ueno. The work forms part of a series showing how a family grows over time, best appreciated when viewed alongside "Family 2026."
"Family 2026"

(2025, Acrylic gouache on canvas, F25)
This companion piece to "Family 1996" depicts the same family 30 years later in their 2026 commemorative photo. The grown children stand alongside the same beloved panda stuffed animal, treasured across the decades. Together with the first piece, these works tell a story of time passing and enduring family bonds.
"Winter Vacation, Home"

(2025, Acrylic gouache on watercolor paper, A4)
In winter, skiers and snowboarders heading to the slopes become a common sight. This piece aims to capture the essence of winter vacation through something other than snow or cold—a unique interpretation of the season.
"The Reality of Ski Slopes"

(2025, Acrylic gouache on watercolor paper, A4)
While skiing is often depicted through dramatic moments like jumps and turns, actual ski slopes feature many everyday scenes that are equally fascinating and moving. This work captures a bright spring skiing day, when sunlight intensifies after winter has passed.
