Hyatt Centric Sapporo (Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido; General Manager: Yuki Takimura), Hyatt's first hotel in Sapporo, has confirmed it will open on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The hotel occupies the 1st floor and 17th through 26th floors of Urbannet Sapporo Link Tower, about a 10-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station and directly connected via underground walkway, close to the former Hokkaido Government Office (the Akarenga building) and Odori Park — a location well suited as a base for heading out into the city and discovering its local charms. From the upper floors, guests can enjoy sweeping, open views over the streets of Sapporo.
Advance reservations for stays from December 1, 2026 onward are already open on the official website, and reservations for stays from the October 3 opening date have now opened as well. Reservations for the hotel's main restaurant, Matsu Grill & Bar, are also now open for dining from October 3 onward. To mark the opening, both the hotel and the restaurant are offering limited-time special plans.
Opening Commemorative Stay Offer
For a limited time, the hotel is offering plans with 15% off the standard rate (17% off for World of Hyatt members), as well as plans that include hotel credit for use within the property.
Opening Commemorative Restaurant Offer
Guests who order a course dinner at Matsu Grill & Bar will receive a complimentary glass of sparkling wine for a toast (a non-alcoholic drink can be substituted on request). Offer period: October 3 (Sat) through October 31 (Sat).
Restaurant Overview
Matsu Grill & Bar

Set on the 17th floor with panoramic views, Matsu Grill & Bar serves dishes that draw on the bounty of Hokkaido's sea and land, prepared with French technique and finished over an open wood fire. Its dynamic show kitchen fills the space with the fragrance of the wood fire and the live energy of the cooking, presenting seasonal seafood, Ezo deer, and slow-fermented pork ribs among dishes shaped by the chef's own approach. Looking out over a cityscape that changes expression through the day, guests are invited into a dining experience that engages all five senses with the richness of Hokkaido's nature and culture.
Hours: 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM (Breakfast 7:00 to 10:30 AM / Lunch 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM / Dinner 6:00 to 10:00 PM / Bar 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM)
Mr. Fish by Hyatt Centric Sapporo

Made with seasonal white fish caught in the waters off Hokkaido and paired with the region's potatoes, this casual cafe-dining spot on the hotel's 1st floor serves authentic fish and chips alongside craft beer. The menu also includes a range of salads, acai bowls, fish burgers, and churros, with takeout available for a relaxed, easy stop-in.
Hours: 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
