Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo, operated by Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management Co., Ltd., completed its full hotel renovation on February 1, 2026, and began operations. To coincide with this renewal, two new restaurants have opened at the hotel properties in Sapporo's central district.
The newly renovated Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo now features "Hakko &" (Hakko And), a restaurant operated by Graphic Holdings Co., Ltd., on the hotel's first-floor lobby. At the adjacent Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo West, the same operator has launched "WEST Table," another new dining venue.

This renewal prioritizes enhancing the guest experience through food, in addition to updating guest rooms and common areas. With the two adjacent hotels offering restaurants with distinct culinary identities, guests can enjoy a wider variety of dining choices suited to different occasions and extended stays in Sapporo.
Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo: Restaurant "Hakko &" (Hakko And)
"Hakko &" at Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo focuses on the wisdom of fermentation that has been passed down in Japan for generations. The restaurant offers body-friendly dishes that bring out the natural flavors of ingredients through careful preparation, incorporating fermented ingredients such as miso and koji.
Breakfast
The live kitchen serves fluffy onigiri (rice balls) made with Hokkaido-grown Nanatsuboshi rice, freshly prepared to your preferred size. Guests can choose from five filling options including coarsely flaked silver salmon and silver salmon ikura marinated in soy sauce. The menu also features hearty pork soup made with the restaurant's original blended miso, grilled Hokkaido miso-koji pork enhanced with a miso-koji marinade, freshly fried horse mackerel with tartar sauce, and seasonal warm side dishes that showcase the deliciousness of Japanese cuisine.

Delicatessen and Salads with Seasonal Ingredients
The delicatessen and salad selections available at both "Hakko &" and "WEST Table" feature seasonal ingredients packed with Hokkaido's umami, allowing guests to enjoy the natural deliciousness of vegetables. Recommended items include low-temperature cooked roast pork for a tender finish, and octopus and broccoli marinade, among other colorful menu options.
The selection also includes various colorful vegetables, allowing guests to easily consume vitamins and minerals that are beneficial for the morning. In addition to several dressings, the popular carrot dressing found at other properties, as well as oil and salt options are available for guests to enjoy with their preferred seasoning.

"Hakko &" Original Craft Beer
"Hakko &" offers an original craft beer available only at the restaurant. This unique saison pairs crisp beer with sansho (Japanese pepper), a traditional Japanese spice.
