Hyatt Regency Kyoto's all-day dining restaurant Café 33 is set to begin selling a hotel-made bento box (for takeaway) available by reservation, with the menu changing each season.
The first edition is the spring "Hanami Bento" (行楽弁当), celebrating the arrival of the season. Crafted with seasonal ingredients and vibrant colors timed to the cherry blossom season, this lineup will continue throughout the year with different ingredients and themes for each season.

Crafted by chefs including the former sous chef of the Japanese restaurant Higashiyama, the bento draws on traditional Japanese cooking techniques honed at the hotel. Centered around a flavorful rice dish infused with sakura sea bream and bamboo shoots, it is artfully arranged with grilled, simmered, and Japanese side dishes—equally suited for outdoor cherry blossom viewing or home celebrations.
