Tea Lounge Mayfair on the second floor of The Westin Miyako Kyoto is offering a luxurious ripe mango parfait for a limited one-month period in May 2026. Served in an elegantly rounded parfait glass, the dessert builds through eight distinct layers made with generously portioned ripe mango, each revealing a different facet of the fruit as you work through the glass.

Eight Layers of Ripe Mango
The parfait opens with mango sorbet and coconut milk ice cream — a cold, fruit-forward first impression with the sweet fragrance of the tropics. Beneath lies a layer of fresh mango slices arranged beautifully against the inside of the glass, followed by a smooth mango panna cotta offering a creamy, lingering richness. A layer of white chocolate crunch adds a pleasant contrast in texture before giving way to mango passion sauce, which introduces a bright acidity. A light coconut Chantilly cream follows, melting gently on the palate, and at the base of the glass, a jelly holds whole pieces of mango fruit — ensuring the last bite is just as satisfying as the first.
A Patissier's Craft
Topping the glass, mango slices are fashioned into the shape of a blooming rose. Marigold petals and a coconut cookie sandwiched with buttercream complete the garnish, giving the parfait the look of a tropical garden. Each one is assembled to order by the patissier, ensuring a carefully crafted presentation from every angle.

With Kyoto's lush greenery at its peak in early summer, this parfait is available for just one month — the window when ripe mangoes are at their finest.
