Imuraya Russelia Launches Summer-Limited Shaved Ice Using Natural Water Ice Starting June 18, 2026

Starting June 18, 2026 (Thursday), imuraya sweets marché Russelia (ラッセリア) is offering two summer-limited shaved ice (kakigori) creations made with natural water ice: "Strawberry Milk" (苺みるく) and "Uji Matcha" (宇治抹茶).

Ahead of the warmer months, the lineup features a Strawberry Milk kakigori using "Kaorino Strawberries" (かおり野いちご) grown in Mie Prefecture, and a Uji Matcha kakigori combining aged Uji matcha from Kyoto Prefecture with Imuraya's own sweet red bean paste. Both are made with finely shaved natural water ice that delivers a light, airy texture and a refreshing flavor.

Aged Uji matcha from Kyoto Prefecture — prized for its elegant sweetness and rich aroma — is combined with Imuraya's signature sweet red bean paste (yudeazuki), shiratama (rice flour dumplings), and condensed milk. The slightly bitter matcha and the gentle sweetness of the red beans come together in a balanced summer-limited kakigori.
