A new rooftop entertainment dining venue, "Janoku Yakiniku & BBQ Yoidokoro Tenma," is opening in Osaka's Tenma district on April 6, 2026. Operated by Jankara — a karaoke chain with around 206 locations across Japan — this marks the sixth location under the "Janoku" concept.
"Janoku" venues make use of rooftop spaces above Jankara karaoke locations to deliver a combination of BBQ, nabe (hot pot), and karaoke entertainment. The Tenma location is the first in the lineup to introduce a full yakiniku (grilled meat) menu. Built around a Showa retro theme, the venue recreates the atmosphere of a bygone era through carefully selected décor and furnishings.
Inside, guests will find approximately 500 vintage manga volumes, still-working record players, analog games, and retro electric fans — items that invite both browsing and hands-on enjoyment as part of the dining experience.
Four Courses on Offer
The venue offers four course menus. Among them, the signature Hormone Course (¥4,480) is built around offal cuts and is intended as a crowd-pleasing centerpiece. Individual à la carte items are also available for those who prefer to order separately.
With seating for up to 110 guests, the venue caters to a range of occasions — from family dinners and casual get-togethers to company parties and larger group events.
About the Janoku Concept
The first Janoku location opened in Kyoto's Demachiyanagi area in September 2023. The concept pairs rooftop BBQ dining with karaoke stages and large video screens, creating a lively atmosphere suited to both daytime and evening visits. Other current locations include venues in Kumamoto (Shimotori Domannaka), Osaka (Super Jankara Abeno Premium and Shinsaibashi), and Kyoto (Kiyamachi Night Out).
The Tenma store joins as the sixth location in the growing Janoku lineup.
