JR Central (Central Japan Railway Company), Toyohashi City in Aichi Prefecture, and JTB Communication Design are launching a special collaboration with the Ultraman Series to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
This initiative brings a VR event featuring the Ultraman Series to Toyohashi City, using it as a starting point to promote local products, scenery, and tourism resources, contributing to regional economic revitalization.
Project Background and Overview
JR Tokai and Toyohashi City signed an agreement in 2024 titled "Collaboration and Cooperation Agreement on Regional Revitalization Using Content," working together to establish a framework for regional development through attracting anime, games, and other content. Using this agreement, they have invited a VR event (organized by JTB Communication Design) that lets visitors experience massive monster exhibits and thrilling Ultraman battle scenes to Toyohashi City. Together with the city and local businesses, various programs and special experiences have been prepared.
Services that allow visitors to experience the Ultraman worldview throughout the entire city will promote the region's charm.

① First-Ever Ultraman VR Event (Paid)
- Event Name: 'Land of Light Museum: Ultraman XR Journey'
- Venue: COCOLA AVENUE (1-135 Ekimae-Odori, Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture)

The latest VR creation that recreates the Ultraman world in virtual reality space will be unveiled for a limited time. Escorted by Ultraman to visit the "Land of Light Museum," visitors can enjoy the history of the Ultraman Series, massive monster exhibits, and dynamic battle scenes right before their eyes. Wearing VR goggles, visitors can freely walk around and take photos.

③ Large-Scale Decorations and Exhibits Throughout the City Commemorating the Series' 60th Anniversary
Starting from JR Toyohashi Station, large-scale Ultraman decorations and exhibits will be installed at various locations throughout the city.
④ Toyohashi City AR (Smartphone) & Overlapping Stamp Rally
Scanning designated QR codes with a smartphone at five spots throughout the city will make giant Ultra Heroes appear in AR. Different Ultra Heroes appear at each of the five spots, so enjoy exploring the city of Toyohashi. (See image below)
