Land of Light Museum: Ultraman XR Journey VR Experience Comes to Toyohashi to Celebrate Ultraman Series 60th Anniversary

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman Series, a new VR museum experience titled "Land of Light Museum: Ultraman XR Journey" has been created through a collaboration between ABAL Corporation and Tsuburaya Productions. This immersive VR experience features giant monster exhibitions and dynamic Ultraman battle scenes.

The experience will be showcased as part of "Hope Echoes! Journey of Light in Toyohashi," a collaborative event organized by Toyohashi City, JR Central, and JTB Communication Design, running from February 28 to April 26, 2026.

About Land of Light Museum: Ultraman XR Journey

Developed to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman Series, this VR experience was created through a joint project between Tsuburaya Productions and ABAL. Visitors can select their crew member avatar and explore four different areas showcasing various aspects of the Ultraman universe.

This is a rare opportunity to experience Ultraman's home planet, the Land of Light, through virtual reality. More venue locations will be announced in the future.

Four Experience Areas

① Journey to the Land of Light

Traveling to Land of Light

The experience begins with Ultraman appearing before participants. Visitors board Ultraman's giant hand and travel to his homeland, the Land of Light.

② Monster Exhibition Room

Monster exhibition

This exhibition hall features giant Ultra Monsters, including fan favorites like Alien Baltan, Gomora, and King Joe. The VR format allows visitors to observe these creatures from all angles in 360 degrees—a truly unique experience.

③ Ultra Heroes Exhibition

Ultra Heroes exhibition

Visitors explore exhibition halls that showcase 60 years of Ultraman Series history. The experience includes photo opportunities with favorite heroes, and captured photos can be downloaded to smartphones or shared on social media.

④ Battle Scenes

Battle scene

The climax features thrilling close-up views of epic battles: Ultraman vs. Zetton and Ultraman Zero vs. Ultraman Belial. This exhibition room delivers the excitement befitting a grand finale.

Story

In Ultraman's homeland, the Land of Light, a museum has been established to archive the history of the Ultra Heroes. This massive archive chronicles the entire Ultraman Series history. Through special arrangement, the museum has been opened to people from Earth. The journey from Earth to the Land of Light includes the dream experience of being guided by Ultraman himself. The museum features the history of heroes from Ultraman to Ultraman Omega, giant monsters, immersive battle experiences, and free photo opportunities throughout.

About ABAL Corporation

Based on their XR platform "Scape®," which can accommodate up to 100 simultaneous participants, the company handles everything from attraction planning and production to operation.
