JUNGLIA OKINAWA Adds New Shaded Rest Areas and Cooling Upgrades for Summer 2026

JUNGLIA OKINAWA, the nature-themed adventure park in Okinawa's northern Yanbaru region, is expanding its heat relief measures for summer 2026. The park is investing hundreds of millions of yen in new shaded spaces, cooling equipment, and refreshment options, following a first wave of heat measures introduced through a partnership with Biore.

While Okinawa's summer temperatures rarely exceed 35°C, the intense sunshine and high humidity typical of this subtropical region can make outdoor time demanding. The new upgrades are designed to respond to guest feedback requesting more shade and comfortable rest areas throughout the park.

A new large shaded rest area seating 264 guests is being added to the rear of "Breeze Arena," the venue for the park's main shows. Large mist fans will be installed in the space to keep temperatures comfortable. The area is open for all guests to use freely, and is also designed for tour groups seeking a shared dining spot. Special lunch boxes will be available for group bookings.

The daily live music "Wild Beat" show, which takes place at Wild Banquet, can also be experienced from the dining area.
