Surfeel Spa Okinawa at Laguna Garden Hotel Hosts a Summer-Only Night Pool for Resort Evenings in Okinawa

Surfeel Spa Okinawa (さふぃスパ沖縄), the sauna and spa facility inside Laguna Garden Hotel in Ginowan, Okinawa, is extending its outdoor pool hours starting Saturday, July 18, 2026, keeping the pool open until 9:00 PM instead of its usual 7:00 PM closing time as part of a new "Night Pool" event. New daybeds and lantern lighting have been added poolside, so visitors can enjoy the pool's changing character, from a sun-filled afternoon to an evening bathed in blue light. The poolside bar also offers a lineup of Okinawan food and drinks, and an outdoor sauna aufguss event is planned for Friday, July 24. Both hotel guests and non-staying visitors are invited to enjoy a nighttime resort experience unique to the hotel.

A Summer-Only Night Pool with a Different Look After Dark

Starting July 18, the outdoor pool at Surfeel Spa Okinawa will stay open until 9:00 PM instead of its usual 7:00 PM closing time for the Night Pool event. New double-size daybeds and lantern lighting have been added poolside, so guests can relax in open sunlight during the day and enjoy the calmer atmosphere of blue lights reflecting on the water's surface at night. For safety reasons, use of the pool after 7:30 PM is limited to guests of junior high school age and older, allowing for a relaxed nighttime pool experience in a quieter setting.

Okinawan Food and Drinks at the Poolside Bar

At the Outside Bar, marked by its iconic "LAGUNA" neon sign, guests can choose from a menu of 10 dishes across three categories: Okinawan Food, Finger Food, and Chinese Food. Choices range from hearty, Okinawan-style dishes such as the hotel's original Double Agu Pork Katsu Curry and the Potama Sando (pork and egg) sandwich served with fried taro, to easy, one-handed bites like the Agu Sausage Italian Dog and Surfeel Spa's Spicy Fried Chicken, as well as the Sichuan-Style Tantanmen and Sichuan-Style Mapo Tofu Rice Bowl, supervised by Kochuten, the Chinese restaurant on the hotel's top floor. The lineup covers both guests wanting a full meal and those looking for a lighter snack. Drinks include Orion Beer alongside Okinawan favorites like Shima Rum Coke and Shikuwasa Sour, as well as Orobo, also known as a sauna drink, and its frozen version, Orobo Frozen, for a poolside lineup with its own local character.
