The annual summer horror event at Nakano Broadway's Hakaba no Garou is back for 2026. The Junji Ito Pop-Up Store "Zankyou" in Hakaba no Garou will run from July 2 (Thursday) to August 17 (Monday), 2026, at Hakaba no Garou Nakano store and the Hakaba no Garou ONLINE STORE.
This year's theme is "Zankyou" — the echo of fear that lingers in the mind long after finishing one of Junji Ito's works. Even after closing the page, someone's scream continues to resonate deep within. The event captures that haunting aftertaste through exclusive merchandise and a special key visual drawn by Junji Ito specifically for this event.
Junji Ito has long been recognized as one of Japan's leading horror manga artists, with his name spreading worldwide as an icon of fear that transcends borders. Hakaba no Garou has hosted annual Junji Ito events, bringing his unique world into physical space at the depths of Nakano Broadway.
